2005-09-01 Permanent Building Signage=pia- - --- �C►��i��I�a08 MANAGEMENT _fV September 1, 2005 Larry Kruse City of Albertville 5975 Main Avenue NE PO Box 9 Albertville, MN 55301 RE: Permanent Building Signage Albertville Crossing Dear Larry: I am writing to you in regards to building signage at Albertville Crossing. H.J. Development recently signed a lease with Aesthetic Concepts, and they will soon move into the space once occupied by Specialty Fashions. As shown on the attached site plan, the tenant occupies a corner location and would like a permanent sign placed on the front and side walls of the building. H.J. Development is in agreement with this request, and at this time would like to obtain City approval. It is my understanding that an approved, comprehensive sign plan is currently in place at the center. I further understand that certain buildings on site allow signage on the front and rear walls provided that said signage does not exceed fifteen percent (15%) of each wall area. As a rear wall is not available to this tenant, H.J. Development would like to request that they be given permission to utilize a portion of the building side wall. As shown on the enclosed rendering, the first tenant sign would be located on the front of the building and would face Co. Rd. 19. The second sign would be placed on the side of the building and face Major's Sports Cafe. Each sign would be required to adhere to both the City of Albertville's and H.J. Development's sign criteria, and may not exceed fifteen percent of each wall area. Larry, as time is of the essence, it is our hope that the City of Albertville will review and approve this request within the next two weeks.
