This letter will confirm that on April 4, 2003, the City of Albertville deposited
two checks from Commercial Partners Title, LL- C in the total amount of $55,681.54
which fully satisfied the remaining special assessments on parcel number 101-0927
00101 Q. Unfortunately, the City failed to send a -letter to Wright County informing they
ro County that the remaining special assessments had been prepaid. Had the City done this,
the special assessments would not have shown up on the 2004 tax statements.
The City has asked Wright County to issue a revised tax statement'for this
property indicating that the special assessments have been paid. Wright County expects
this statement to be issued in the next few days. We have requested a copy of this revised
tax statement and will fax a copy to you as soon as we receive it. Because the special
assessments have been already paid, the City asks that you not pay them again as the
process of refunding such monies back to Wells Fargo is complicated and will be time
consuming. x

On April 4, 2003, the City of Albertville received a check in the amount of $55,681.54
from Commercial Partners Title, LLC as payment in full on special assessments levied
against J.H. Development's PID 101-092-001010 under project number 23301.
Unfortunately, the City failed to send your office a letter informing you that the special
assessments on this lot had been prepaid. That error is entirely the City's error.
As a result of this error,Jhe property owner's lender is planning to pay the special
assessments (plus accrued interest) in the next day or two, which will result in a
considerable problem for the property owner and a larger problem for the City. Can yqu
please issue a revised tax statement for this property which reflects full prepayment of the �.
project 23301 special assessments for this property? I understand that this request is
being made on very short notice, and I appreciate your efforts to issue the revised tax
statement as soon as you possibly can. Can you fax a copy of the revised statement to me
at 763-497-3210?
