RE:
Final Street and Utility Plan Review
Cedar Creek North
Albertville, Minnesota
SEH No. A-ALBEV 9806.00
I have reviewed the above referenced plan and have the following comments:
Drawings
1. All 12-inch valves shall be butterfly valves. Revise Drawing accordingly.
2. The sanitary sewer manholes not in the centerline of a street, shall be located such that the
manhole is not in the vehicle wheel path.
3. Sheet 2: Move MH 19 10 feet south to avoid conflict with the storm sewer.
4. Sheet 3: Move MH 12 easterly approximately 5 feet to avoid conflict with the storm sewer.
5. Sheet 3: Redesign water main alignment on Karston Drive to eliminate the 45 degree bends.
6. Sheet 4: Eliminate gate valve at the temporary hydrant on 62nd Street.
7. Sheet 4: Eliminate gate valve at Station 14+05 on Karston Drive. This gate valve should be
installed in a future phase.
8. Sheet 4: Relocate services for Lot 2, Block 3 on Karston A venue to avoid conflict with the
catch basins.
9. Sheet 5: Redesign water main at intersection of Karston Avenue and 61st Street. As
proposed, the headloss through the fittings is una~ceptable.
