The examination of plans is based upon the supposition that the data on which the design is based are correct, and that necessary legal authority has been obtained to construct the project. The responsibility for the design of structural features and the efficiency of equipment must be taken by the project designer. Approval is contingent upon satisfactory disposition of any requirements included with this report. Water supply plans are examined with regard to the location, construction and operational features of the design and maintenance of all parts of the system which may affect the safety and sanitary quality of the water. Examination is based on the standards of this department. This project consists of the installation of the following watermaillS: 1. 548 lineal feet of 6-inch PVC plastic watermain. 2. 823 lineal feet of 8-inch PVC plastic watermain. 3. 3,233 lineal feet of 12-inch PVC plastic watermain. If it is desired to make deviations from the approved plans, the State Department of Health should be consulted and approval of the changes obtained before construction is started; otherwise, such construction is installed without proper approval, and in addition may create dangers to public health. Authorization for construction in accordance with the approved plans may be withdrawn if construction is not undertaken within a period of two years. The fact that the plans have been approved does not necessarily mean that recommendations or requirements for change will not be made at some later time when changed conditions, additional information, or advanced knowledge make improvements necessary. /"' Cedar Creek North Street and Utility Improvement Project Watermain Plan No. 983223 Page 2 June 22, 1998 Approved: ~~ Brian A.
