My estimate for design and construction engineering services related to the trail between
Swamp Lake and Kassel Avenue is as follows:
1. Topographic Survey = $2900
2. Geotechnical Exploration & Laboratory Testing= $7500 3. Plans, Specs, Geotechnical
Recommendations, Quantities, Estimate & Administration = $15,700 4. Wetland Delineation,
Reporting & Permitting = $4800 5. Bidding = $1500 6. Construction Observation &
Administration = $14,800
Total cost of all services identified is $47,200.
Keep in mind that if there are wetland impacts identified, the TEP panel will require a
solid explanation as to why the wetlands can't be avoided.
In this case, that could be quite difficult. If the wetland impacts are allowed, either
mitigation or banking would be required and would have an additional cost for the
mitigation work or the banking acquisition.
