P.O. Box 1166 Monticello, MN 55362 Dear Matt: I received your letter, dated October 18, 2002, regarding the Kollville Estates Second Addition development. I understand the difficulty you are experiencing in maintaining erosion control; however, the City of Albertville is responsible for enforcing the NPDES storm water discharge permit requirements. We have tried to be flexible when working with all builders to enforce the erosion control requirements. The proposal you outlined in your letter is a good first step, and I am willing to work with you to implement it with the exception of item 3. I would like to remove the subjectivity from item 3 and have the streets swept on a daily basis. Given the amount of work that is going on at the site and the other conditions you have outlined in your letter, it seems like the streets would need to be swept on a daily basis anyway. If this is agreeable to you, I will approve the submitted lot surveys. eter J. Carlson, . .
