RESOLUTION GRANTING CONDmONAL USE PERMIT NO.1 0 -14 - 9 7/1
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FOUR HOLES OF AN EIGHTEEN HOLE
GOLF COURSE.
At a regular meeting of the City Council, City of St. Michael, held Tuesday, October 14,
1997 at the St. Michael City Hall, St. Michael, Minnesota, with the following members present:
Mayor Roxanne Packa, Council members Michael Bruner, Kenneth Duerr, Wayne Kessler
and Thomas Hagerty, and the following absent: None.
THE CITY OF ST. MICHAEL RESOLVED:
WHEREAS, Application has been made by Pilot Land Development Company for a
Conditional Use Permit to construct four holes of a proposed eighteen hole golf course, on that land
legally descnbed as set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof ("Property"); and,
WHEREAS, the matter was referred to the Planning Commission who have given their
advice and recommendation to the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the effect of the proposed use upon the health, safety and welfare of
surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, and its effect on property values in the
neighborhood have been considered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
ST. MICHAEL, MINNESOTA:
1. A Conditional Use Permit is granted to allow the construction of four holes of an eighteen
hole golf course upon the Property.
2. The Conditional Use Permit is granted subject to the following conditions and contingencies:
A. Approval of the PUD by the City of Albertville;
B. Final grading, drainage and erosion plans submitted to and approved by the City
Engineer;
C. Conveyance of additional road right-of-way as determined by the Wright County
Highway Department;
3. The Applicant shall be required to record a copy of this Resolution with the Wright County
Recorder and to pay all fees for said recording and shall file proof of said recording with the
City. . Building pennits shall not be issued until or unless the recording is made within one
year from the date of this approval.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Council Member Bruner, and duly seconded by
Council Member Kessler.
Voting in Favor: Hagerty, Bruner, Kessler, Duerr and Packa.
Voting Against: None
The following were absent: None.
WHEREUPON, the Resolution was adopted the 14th day of October, 1997.

FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO ACCESSORY BUILDINGS
FOR A PROPOSED EIGHTEEN HOLE GOLF COURSE
At a regular meeting of the City Council, City of St. Michael, held Tuesday, October 14,
1997 at the St. Michael City Hall, St. Michael, Minnesota, with the following members present:
Mayor Roxanne Packa, Council members Michael Bruner, Kenneth Duerr, Wayne Kessler
and Thomas Hagerty, and the following absent: None.
THE CITY OF ST. MICHAEL RESOLVED:

a grounds keeper residence, on that land legally described as set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto
and made a part hereof ("Property"); and,
WHEREAS, the matter was referred to the Planning Commission who have given their
advice and recommendation to the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the effect of the proposed use upon the health, safety and welfare of
surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, and its effect on property values in the
neighborhood have been considered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
ST. MICHAEL, MINNESOTA:
1. A Conditional Use Permit is granted to allow the construction of two accessory buildings on
the above-described Property.
2. The Conditional Use Permit is granted subject to the following conditions and contingencies:
A. The accessory buildings shall be used only as a maintenance building, and a grounds
keeper residence;
B. The accessory buildings must be set back One Hundred Thirty (130) feet from the
centerline of County Road 118;

C. The height of the maintenance building shall be no more than twenty feet;
D. The architecture and exterior materials of the accessory buildings shall be compatible
with the main building for the golf course;
E. The use of the maintenance accessory building shall be limited to storage and
maintenance of golf course equipment;
F. Screening shall be installed and maintained as recommended by the City Engineer;
G. Appropriate building permits are obtained, and all construction is in compliance with
the requirements of the building permit and site plans as needed.
3. The Applicant sha{l be required to record a copy of this Resolution with the Wright County
Recorder and to pay all fees for said recording and shall file proof of said recording with the
City. Building permits shall not be issued until or unless the recording is made within one
year from the date of this approval.

Council Member Bruner.

RESOLUTION APPROVING LAND SPLIT
At a regular meeting of the City Council, City of St. Michael, held Tuesday, October 14,
1997 at the St. Michael City Hall, St. Michael, Minnesota, with the following members present:
Mayor Roxanne Packa, Council members Michael Bruner, Kenneth Duerr, Wayne Kessler
and Thomas Hagerty, and the following absent: None.
THE CITY OF ST. MICHAEL RESOLVED:
WHEREAS, Application has been made by Pilot Land Development Company for approval
of a property subdivision:to split off 32 acres of that that land owned by Ermin Schumacher and
legally described as set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof ("Property"); and,
WHEREAS, the matter was referred to the Planning Commission who have given their
advice and recommendation to the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the effect of the proposed use upon the health, safety and welfare of
surrounding lands, existing and anticipated traffic conditions, and its effect on property values in the
neighborhood have been considered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
ST. MICHAEL, MINNESOTA:
1. It is hereby determined that the split of 32 acres from the above-described Property is in
harmony with the general purposes and interests of the Zoning Ordinances of the City.
2. Approval is hereby granted to allow the splitting of 32 acres from the above-described
Property, for use in the construction of an eighteen hole golf course.
3. The Applicant shall be required to record a copy of this Resolution with the Wright County
Recorder and to pay all fees for said recording and shall file proof of said recording with the
City.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Council Member Duerr and duly seconded by
Council Member Kessler.
Voting in Favor: Hagerty, Bruner, Kessler, Duerr and Packa.
Voting Against: None
The following were absent: None.
WHEREUPON, the Resolution was adopted the 14th day of October, 1997.
