I reviewed the plans and specifications for above mentioned project and have the following
comments:
1. Locate sanitary sewer manholes in the centerline of the street. Manholes 2,4,5,7, and 8 can
easily located in the center of the street.
2. Add an 8 inch gate valve at approximately Station 8+00.
3. Extend an 8 inch water main to the southwest between Lots 6 and 7, Block 1 for a future
connection.
4. Relocate hydrant and gate valve at CL Station 8+93 to opposite side of the street at the lot
line between Lots 7 and 8, Block 2. Add an 8 inch gate valve to water main at this new
location.
5. The hydrant and gate valve at CL Station 6+08 is not required.
6. Relocate hydrant and gate valve at CL Station 3+44 at lot line between Lots 4 and 5, Block 2.
7. Sanitary sewer service invert to Lot 7, Block 2 should be 954.5.
8. Add note for catch basins 1 and 2 to be constructed so they are the low point of the gutterline.
9. Extend 4 inch drain lines 100 feet from either side of catch basins.
10. P,,-emove excess information from Profile "A".
11. Detail sheet shall have current city standard detail plates.
12. Televise all sanitary sewer per city standards.
