MINUTES OF PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING
FOR
ALBERT VILLAS
UTILITES AND STREETS
Those present at the meeting are on the attached sign-in sheet.
The meeting was held at the City of Albertville City Hall @ lOAM June 5, 2000.
The following are some of the items noted:
Utility companies were not present, were notified too late for meeting. Chuck Plowe will
send all of them copies of the plat and request design and schedule, including where they
would like PVC conduit street crossings.
The Lift station was discussed and Wayne Stark indicated that bids would be taken at the
end of June for lift station construction. And award of that contract would be on the 5th
of July.
Chuck Plowe will provide additional sets of plans and specs. to SEH
Working hours are from 7 AM to 7PM unless given permission by the City to work before
or after these times.
Instant Testing will be doing the soils testing for compaction and related work.
Jerome Kuechle will provide a list of suppliers and subcontractors to SEH and Plowe
Eng. Also copes of Insurance certificate and performance bond.
Kuechle Underground is scheduled to begin installations on Wednesday, June 7th.
In addition to the risers at the main where indicated on plans, contractor will install riser
at the end of service to provide an approximate 8.0 ft depth for connection to house.
Watermain is to be stubbed to the west from intersection of Jason Ave. and Kahl Ave. for
future extension.
Jerome Kuechle will provide updated costs for letter of credit amount.

Contractor will measure length of servIces installed and gIve information to
Mike(inspector).
The typical street section to be used includes 1 ~"bit. Wear, 2 ~ .. bit. Base, 6" class 5,
18" granular sub base over geotextile fabric. Fabric will be omitted only if approved by
city engineer.
4" drain tile to be installed at all low point catch basins extending I 00 feet each direction
along curb line.
MH shop drawings are to be reviewed and stamped by contractor and engineer.

Chuck Plowe will provide copy of County street access permit to city engineer as soon as
it is available.
