Dear Mr. Carlson:
Loucks & Associates, Inc. has completed their Phase I archaeological report for the
Albert Villas project in Albertville, Minnesota. Artifacts were located in the central
portion of the project, however, the archaeological site does not meet the criteria for
nomination to the National Register.
With respect to cultural resource concerns, Loucks & Associates, Inc. recommends
that the Albert Villa residential development project be allowed to proceed. A copy
of the report is enclosed and copies of the report have also been sent to the State
Historic Preservation Office and the State Archaeology Office.
