HOW .FINANCE CHARGES ARE COMPUTED FOR HOME EQUITY AND EXECUTIVE CREDIT LINES: We will begin to earn finance eharges when we
make a loan to you. To ealculate the fiuanee charges for a hilling eycle, we wj]j apply a daily periodic rate of finance charge to the "prineipal balance" of your loan
each day.
To figure the "principal halance" each day, we first take your loan account balance at the beginning of the day and subtract any unpaid finance charges and credit
insurance premiums (if any) that due. Next, we subtraet the portion of any payments or credits received that day whieh apply the ofyoUf loans. (A
portion of each payment you make is applied to finance charges and credit insurance premiums, if any). Then we add any new 10m15 made day. The final figure is
the "principal balance."
HOW FINANCE CHARGES .ARE COMPUTEnFOR HIGHLAND RESERVE: We will hegin to earn finance charges when we make a loan to you. To calculate
the finance cbarge for a hiEing cycle, we will apply a daily periodic rate of nnance charge to tbe average daily balanee of your loan account j(Jf the billing cycle. We
then multilply tbat amount by the number of days in the billing cyele.
To compute the average daily balance we will: (I) take your loan account balance at the heginning of each day ~md subtract any unpaid finance charges or any credit
insurance premiums (if any) that are due; (2) subtraet the portion of mlY payments or eredits received that tbat apply to the repayment of your loan account (We
apply a portion of each payment to reduce any fimmce eharges and credit insurm1Ce premiums that are due, any); (3) add any new loans made that day (This gives us
daily balanee.); and (4) add up all the daily balances for the billing cycle and divide by the Dumber of days jn the billing cycle (This givcs us the "average daily
balance"). The annual percentage rate includes interest but not other costs.
