Moberg, PE Project Manager DATE: May 16, 2005 RE: Parks ide Commercial Center Revised Site Plan Review Albertville, Minnesota SEH No. A-ALBEV0501 D70 I have reviewed the revised site plans and drainage calculations submitted for the proposed construction of Parks ide Commercial Center. I have the following comments: 1. The common drive area adjacent to Casey's General Store must be constructed to support the truck turning movements into the property. A minimum of 5 inches of bituminous pavement is to be placed in the common drive area. 2. Storm sewer pipe between FES-l and CB-2 is to be 24-inch HDPE. 3. The concrete skimmer structure detail shall include an 8-inch circular orifice in the center wall. Outlet pipe is to be an 18-inch diameter RCP. 4. The Hydrocad calculations submitted for Subcatchment Areas A and D must be modified to show runoff times of concentration that are consistent with the amount of impervious surface in the drainage area. Pond storage and discharge may be affected by the anticipated increase in runoff. 5. Storm sewer design calculations need to indicate the design frequency. Pipe sizes and slopes and structure elevations must be consistent with the plans.
