RE: 1999 CSAH 19 Improvement
Albertville, Minnesota
SEH No. A-ALBEV 9905.00 14
The Contractor has provided a schedule that would complete the final paving of CSAH 19 over a
3 day period. The work would be as follows:
Day 1 Fine grade shoulders in the morning and pave the shoulders in the afternoon. The
Contractor would have construction signs and flaggers on site to maintain traffic
flow. During this time, traffic to the mall will be able to proceed with only minor
slow down in traffic.
Day 2 Bituminous milling at ends of the project. This work would only take a couple of
hours to complete. The Contractor would have construction signs and flaggers on site
to maintain traffic. There should be no disruption to traffic flow.
Day 3 Paving: This work would take most of the day. The Contractor would have
construction signs and flaggers on site to maintain traffic. With the shoulders already
paved, traffic will be directed to the shoulders while the inner lines are being paved.
Traffic will be slow along the lane that is being paved. Traffic in other areas will be
able to proceed normally.
During this 3 day process, traffic flow will only be required to slow down and change lanes when
necessary. Access to the mall will be maintained at all times.
Please call me if you have any questions.
