Dear Mr.Gunnarson:
Enclosed is the validated copy of the Department of the Army permit issued to the
Minnesota Development Agency to construct a residential project in Albertville, referred to as
Hunters Pass Estates. Please be advised that the authorization hereby granted is contingent on
the permittee's compliance with all conditions stated in the permit and its attachments.
We have reviewed the additional archaeology information which you submitted, and
concur that no historic properties would be affected by this proposal. However, as Standard
Condition 6 states, if cultural resources are discovered during construction, work must stop and
the State Historical Society must be contacted.
This Federal permit does not obviate the need to obtain any other Federal, state or local
authorizations required by law. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has waived
water quality certification for this project. The MPCA has not waived your responsibility to
comply with the water quality standards contained in Minn. R. 7050 and other applicable MPCA
statutes. A copy of the MPCA waiver is attached to the permit for your convenience.
The decision regarding this action is based on information found in the administrative
record which documents the District's decision-making process, the basis for the decision, and
the final decision.
If you have any questions, contact Mr. Tim Fell at (651) 290-5360. In any
correspondence or inquiries, please refer to the Regulatory number shown above.
Sincerely,
