2001-12-17 Resolution to Amend Comp Plan CITY OF ALBERTVILLE RESOLUTION # A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ALBERTVILLE, WRIGHT COUNTY, MINNESOTA TO AMEND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE PROJECT KNOWN AS ALBERT VILLAS 4TH ADDmON. WHEREAS, the project known as Albert Villas 4th Addition was reviewed as a concept plan and as a development plan by the Planning Commission and City Council; and WHEREAS, The Albertville Planning Commission held public hearings to consider the change in land use designation in 2000; and WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing on said motion was duly published and posted in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes and persons attending were afforded the opportunity to comment on said amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted to recommend the Council approve the application including the comprehensive plan amendment as requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public meeting on March 5, 2001 to consider the Comprehensive Plan amendment and persons attending were afforded the opportunity to comment on said amendment; and WHEREAS, on March 5, 2001 the City Council of Albertville approved the Comprehensive Plan amendment (pursuant to the conditions of the Findings of Fact and Decision dated March 5, 2001); and WHEREAS, the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan land use designation changes are to occur at the time of final plat; and WHEREAS, the final plat for Albert Villas 4th Addition was considered and approved by the City Council on December 17, 2001. NOW THERFORE, be it resolved by the Albertville City Council that the property to be know as Albert Villas 4th Addition and legally described as outlined in Exhibit A be and hereby is designated for Low Density Residential on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
