Woodside Communities, the developer of the subject project, is requesting release of the outstanding
letter of credit (see attached letter).
As a condition to release of the letter of credit, the developer is proposing to establish an escrow account
to cover the cost of seal coating Karston Court.
There are some remaining lots in the development that have not been built_ By delaying a seal coat on the
street to a future date, it is probable that some, if not all, of the remaining construction activity will be
completed_ Surface area of the street is approximately 50,500 square feet, or 5,610 square yards. The cost
to seal coat the street (including construction contingency and engineering) is estimated to be $6,000_
Our recommendation is for the City to agree to establishment of an escrow account in the: amount of
$6,000, Seal coating of the street should be included with a future City project.
