MEMORANDUM
TO: The Joint Powers Water Board
FROM: E. A. Hickok and Associates
John Lichter, P.E.
DATE: February 10, 1986
RE: Test Boring Results
Ingleside Engineering and Construction, Inc. completed the test boring and
logging at the proposed well site on January 30, 1986. A copy of the well log
is attached to this memorandum. The test boring indicates a zone of water -
producing sand and gravel at approximately 800 feet (NGVD), or about 175 feet
below the ground surface. Bedrock was encountered at 665 feet NGVD at 290 feet
below ground.
Based on test pumping data collected previously for the existing production well
and recently completed computer modeling, we believe a production well can be
located near the test boring site which should be able to produce approximately
1,000 gpm without adversely affecting the existing production well.
