I was able to put together the costs for the work needed to change the systems from down flow to up flow. The attached proposal assumes we would be installing a new furnace, ac coil, and ac condenser (outdoor unit). the equipment is all from 1998 or earlier. Its possible to keep the existing AC Condenser to save a little now, but it would cost more to do it later. Take a look and let me know if you have any questions. This work would cover everything Paul from the City mentioned he would be looking for. Quick question about the proposal for the sump baskets. We would just to like to confirm that sealed vented baskets will be required and also will an air gap be sufficient for the discharge? Jerry, If vented baskets are required, the residents in these 6 homes will not be able to have a washer and dryer in their units. The baskets will take up the floor space in the utility rooms.
