Adjourment CITY OF ALBERTVILLE ALBERTVILLE, MINNESOTA 55301 PHONE: 497-3384 COUNCIL MINUTES 8/5/85 Regular meeting called to order by Mayor Walsh. All members were present. Minutes of the July 15th meeting were read and approved. Maureen Andrews was introduced by the Mayor. After some discussion a motion by Vetsch-Gary S. to have as Intern City Administrator at $8.00 per hour per week for 6 months. All were in favor of. The city recieved a check for $200.00 from the'- athletic assocation to go towards the cost of timers on rink lights. A motion made by Don C.-Gary S. to approve beer license for Jaycees Queen Dance August 23rd at Parish Center and to Lion Club for Pig Roast at Parish center -August 25th. All were in favor of. Don Corned and Maureen will check out what can be done about tree re- moval, etc. It was decided to advertise the three use fire trucks in the St. Cloud paper and the Crow River News, and have sealed bids recieved until September 3rd at 8:30 p.m. Three bids on street construction were recieved. Buffalo Bituminous- $182,933.90; Omann Construction-$193,140.85; and Midcon-187,694.90. A motion by Corneluis-Gary S tp accept bid of Buffalo Bituminous, pending approval of contract by attorney. All in favor. Five bids received on $675,000.00 Bond issue, bids ranged from 8.7246 to 9.2575. A motion by Braun-Corneluis to accept bid of Dain Bosworth at a rate of 8.7246. All were in favor of. A motion by Corneluis-Braun to adopt resolution in regard tc: hearing on Industrial Park project. All in favor. A motion by D. Corneluis-Vetsch to send letter to PPM to report on status of water pond at his site. Back room addition was discussed. he'll discuss again at next meeting to finalize. Maureen will check on who pays street and curb assessments in Barthel Industrial Park, Phase II. A motion by Vetsch-Gary S. to issue home permit to Barthel Homes for a home -_less garage on Lot 3 Block 6, Barthel Industrial Park. All in favor. Make our City........ A motion by Braun-Vescth to set interest rates at 104 percent with 12 year payoff. Hearing Closed. All recent bills in the amount of $31,825.58 from check #6680 to check #6722 were approved A motion by Corneluis-Braun to change meeting date from September 2nd to September 3rd, because of Labor Day.
