11/12/85
A special joint meeting of the Albertville City Counicl and the Planning
Commission was called to order by Acting -Mayor Gary Schwenzfeier and
Chairman Ray Vetcch. Council Members present included D. Vetsch, B. Braun
absent were Mayor Walsh and D.Cornelius. Planning Commission members
presnt included B. Bebeau and Herb Scherber. Others present included
D. Ber.ning and M. A;idrews.
The City Council and the Planning Commission were brought up-to-date on the
San -Nett Properties project for the acquisition, construction and equipping
of an approximately 22,000 square foot food processing facility to be located
in the Barthel Industrial Park. This proposeal will require Revenue Bonds in
the amount of approximately $65,000.00.
A motion to publish a Notice of Public Hearing on financing the project for
December 16th was made by D. Vetsch and seconded by B. Braun. All were in favor.
The hearing is to begin at 8:00 p.m.
In additon there was a motion by B. Braun and second by D. Vetsch to approve
the resolution granting preliminary approval to a proposed industrial
development project, by San -Nell Properties under the Municipal Industrail
.-� Development Act and authorize application for bond issuance authority therefor.
All were in favor.
