Hale explained that he had requested an extension from the state Audi tor I S Offipe for sublni ttal of the 1994 audi t report. Due to the absence of Council member Berning and the fact that an> extension has been recuested, Muyres made a motion to table approval of the 1994 Audit Report until the July 3rd meeting. Anderson seconded the motion. All voted aye. ~he Council reviewed the Sewer Installation Agreement drafted by City Attorney Couri to extend the sanitary sewer line from the existing manhole on county Road 19 to the north to am.nn Brothers property and the otsego ~ool'parcel. Omann Brothers are willing to pay all construction costs to extend . the line, provided they are not responsible for the engineering or legal fees. involved, or the cost of moving the en.till'> manhole. Couri has been in contact with the other two prOperty owners who will be affected--Bernard and Judy Roden and otsego ~o()l--to discuss their will ingness to pay for the moving of the manhole and the engineering and legal fees. Neither the city engineer nor attorney were present at the meeting to answer questions raised by Bernard and Judy Roden regarding the exact costs to be borne' by them and/or the potential purchaser of their property. Jim Omann asked the Counci 1 if Omann Brothers woul d be required to pay the SAC fee even if they paid for the extension of the sewer line. Mayor Potter indicated that the Council would consider and exemption, but at this point . the question was premature. Omarinand the Rodens also discussed an exemption from the trunk access fee. The Council concurred that all details should be written in the agreement in order to clarify all terms. Muyres made a motion to table the matter until all parties to the agreement can meet wi th the ci ty engineer and attorney. to refine the agreement. The Council will consider the matter at the July 3rd meeting. Anderson seconded the motion. All voted aye. . Muyres questioned if the legal fees involved with advising individual parties to the agreement would be billed to the property owner. Administrator Hale stated the legal fees associated would be billed to the property owners. ib Following the interviews, each interviewer ranked the audit firms. ~ Potter made a motion to enter a contract for the Ci ty' s annual audit for tbeyears 19~5, 1996, and 1997 , with Kern, DeWenter, Viere,Ltd. and to authorize the mayor to sign the contract in the form of an eDgagement letter. Audit costs by year are as follows: 1995 - $6,100; 1996 ... $6,300; 1997 - $6,500. Muyres seconded the motion. All voted are. Muyres made a motion to the motion.
