1. Draft 2021 Preliminary Budget — Review/Revisions
Lannes presented the 2"" Draft of the 2021 Budget with a total levy increase of 2.9%,
Member Olson asked what the cost of living was in the budget. Lannes stated it was 2%.
Council directed staff to look at what the cost of living increase for 2021 was in the
Surrounding committees. Council directed staff to bring the preliminary budget and levy to
the August 17t" Council meeting as presented for approval.
2. Capital Reserves — Review of Reserve Balances
Lannes provided the capital reserve balances to the council explaining these balances are to
add to each year based on the replacement plan of the line items.
3. Staffing
Nafstad updated the Council on the possibility of up to five employees that maybe retiring
in the next five years, no action requested to be taken at this time.
4. Street CIP — Review
Nafstad showed the Council the current street improvement plan and pointed out the 2021 -
2022 upcoming projects.
5. Public Works Equipment CIP — Review

7. Close budget workshop and reconvene the Regular Council Meeting
Mayor Hendrickson closed the budget workshop and reconvened to the regular Council
meeting at 8:29 p.m.
