Attendees: Tim Guimont, Andy Swanson, Sandy Greninger, Larry Sorensen, Sharon Oakvik, Mark Barthel;

Visitors: Allen Brixus, Dan Shordahl
Central Park Comprehensive Plan
Allen Brixus and Dan Shordahl presented to the board a comprehensive plan for Central Park. Factors
considered for improving the park include: Friendly City Days, ice arena, softball fields, baseball field,
playground and sports court and several other miscellaneous points like adding fiber optic connection,
trail access and other uses. Land north of the wastewater treatment plant and its potential use was also
discussed.
Parks Night
Albertville Explore Your Parks Night will be May 18, 6-8 pm. Tim will post signs near each park’s entrance
on May 14 to advertise and help direct people to the event.
