Oakside Park Trail
- Ron Klecker suggests completing the trail loop within Oakside Park. He said it would improve safety for
pedestrians by creating a confined area within the park. Ron estimates about 300 feet of asphalt
coverage would be needed. Tim will get prices for cost of new, overlay, and concrete.
Linwood Tennis Court at
- Tim got one bid for Linwood tennis court rehab; $9,000 to clean, seal cracks, paint, and stripe. The
contractor said it will not further damage the surface if the project is delayed.
Winter Park Swing set
- Swing set has been ordered; anticipate project completion by end of July.
Westwind Park Sign
- The new sign has been ordered; anticipate project completion by end of July.
Lions Park Grass
- Tim will get price to repair grass in Lions Park that was damaged during Albertville Friendly City Days.
LeRoy said AFCD will pay for repairs.
Lions Caboose Project
- LeRoy, Andy, and two Lions members looked at a steel caboose near Moose Lake on July 21; LeRoy also
looked at a wood caboose in St. Paul this spring. LeRoy will seek Lions approval and talk with the City
officials about the project.
