Oakside Park Trail
- Roughly 375 feet of new, proposed trail in Oakside Park would cost about $11,250, and 2,400 feet of
overlay would add another $3,600; these are rough estimates.
- The city has 8,801 feet of trail, not including Jason Ave. Considering the age and condition of trails
throughout the city, the committee recommends repairing and replacing existing trails as necessary
before adding new trails. Tim will get estimates to replace the trail on Kalland Ave. from 58t" St. to
Kalland Dr., and 58t" St. from Kalland Ave. to 57t" St.
Parks Equipment and Landscaping
- Linwood Park: Tennis court net poles have been repaired and net has been replaced.
- Winter Park: Swing set has been installed.
- Central Park: Holiday tree has been installed.
- Mulch: Dug out all mulch from Oakside Park and replaced with new; all other parks received a new top
coat of chips, except for Central Park and Villas Park.
