Albertville Parks Committee meeting minutes
April 28, 2015
Attendees: Tim Guimont, Andy Swanson, Larry Boller, Sharon Oakvik, Sandy Greninger, LeRo

Parks night
- May 15, 6-8 pm
- Oakside (Albertville Lions) city plow truck
- Linwood (Sharon) Space Aliens, jet truck
- Westwind (Larry) Culvers, city loader
-Villas (Andy) Foxtailers Snowmobile Club, Gonzo the Clown, Emmas Express
- Four Seasons (Sandy, John) FYCC, Health Source, Andys Pizza, Albertville F.D.
- Winter (Walter) Coborns, John Hardys BBQ.
- LeRoy will deliver orange drink to all parks.
- Members will need to contact vendors to confirm attendance. Cont
to committee.
- To simplify logistics, committee recommends not to award prizes.
- Due to concern that residents cannot easily identify Parks Commi
the committee recommended T-shirts with City logo and Parks Committee directly under the
logo for committee members to wear. Members listed their name and size on paper, Tim will
order the shirts.
- Meet at city hall at 5:30 to pick up giveaways, maps, supplies and shirts.
Oakside shelter
- Committee recommends purchase and installation of a shelter for Oakside Park with green
roof, beige poles
Park gate
- Cars drive on the maintenance path between the Fire Department a
Public works will look into installing a gate to prevent vehicles from illegally entering the park.
