Albertville Parks Committee meeting April 24, 2017
Attendees: Andy Swanson, Tim Guimont, John Vetsch, LeRoy Berning, Larry Boller, Sharon

May 19, 6-8 pm
Oakside: Sandy, with food from El Bamba, Health Source, Nicole potentially something
STMA hockey
Linwood: LeRoy representing the Lions, cooking hot dogs, with the city loader
Westwind: Sharon with Bob’s mower, Subway and water
Villas: Johnny with popcorn and food from Emma’s, jet truck; will need a generator to
power the popcorn machine
Four Seasons: Andy representing the Foxtailers Snowmobile Club and cooking hot dogs,
with plow truck; will need the grill from the public works dept.
Winter: Larry with Andy’s Pizza, fire dept.
LeRoy will deliver McDonald’s orange drink to all of the parks.
Parks committee representatives would like to have one, 11- by 17-inch laminated map
available for display at each park. LeRoy will deliver the maps with the orange drink.
Multiple copies of paper maps will not be necessary this year.
Oakside Park trail
Trail spur along the north edge of the park will be added inside of the park. Installation will
begin after AFCD.
Parks board members
City council has decided not to add a member to the Parks Committee as was discussed at
the March parks committee meeting.
