1. General park updates
According to records from rink attendants, more than 1,000 people used the outdoor rink in December.
2. Parks Night 2019
Event will be Friday, May 17, 6:00-8:00
3. Albertville Centennial Celebration
Discussion about the Centennial Celebration included establishing a timeline that will be used to guide
event planning; determining which groups will lead certain event features (food, memorabilia, etc.);
events and activities.
Foxtailers Snowmobile Club will lead food and beverage, Andy to check with Dahlheimer about 1919
Root Beer, possibly serve beer (4:00-8:00?), Andy to check into size and pricing of various beer mugs,
Jonnie to talk to Merl about beer that was served in Albertville years ago, Tim will check on a kettle corn
vendor; Cub Scouts will lead archery game; LeRoy to provide ideas for potential live bands; Albertville
Centennial Facebook page is up, Samara will make weekly Throwback Thursday posts — spread the word
about this page so it gets more Likes and gives the event more visibility.
