Albertville Parks Committee meeting 10-26-20

1. Central Park
- Council approved the skate park concept that was recommended by the Committee. Next
stage is final approval by Council.

- Sod was laid down this month; second lift of asphalt to be put down on 58 St. and parking
lot this fall.
- Fir tree will be planted in the roundabout this fall.
2. Linwood Park
- Opportunity for city to purchase a lot adjacent to Linwood Park, land would be used to
construct a parking lot. Committee neither supports nor rejects pursuing the opportunity.
