MINUTES OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION
APRIL 24, 1986
The regular meeting of the Albertville Planning Commission was called
to order by Chairman Brian Bebeau. Members present included Ray Vetsch.
and Donatus Vetsch, member Herb Scherber was absent. Others present
included Maureen Andrews and don Berning.
Minutes of the February 27th, March 13 and April 10 meeting were read
and approved on a motion by Donatus Vetsch and a second by Ray Vetsch.
All were in favor.
Jim Merges was present to request information on a building a garage.
He was informed that there was no need for a public hearing on the
garage, so he should go ahead and apply for a building permit.
There was some discussion about garages for the Stalland project. Maureen
was asked to talk to Maureen Wagner and Peter Stalland about garages
in a manufactured housing development.

The Planning Commission went through the shore land management plan.
the group talked about some minor changes that have been noted in
the draft. These changes will be discussed with the DNR by Maureen
before the Public Hearing.
There was a motion by Ray Vetsch and a second by Donatus Vetsch to
set the Public Hearing for the Shore land Overlay District Requirements
for May 22, 1986 at 8:00 p.m. All were in favor.
The Planning Commission was informed that a committee to study the
possible park land exchange is being set up and that a member of the
Planning Commission has been asked to serve on the committee.
Since Herb was not present for the meeting the Commission will wait and
ask if he is interested in serving on the committee, if not Brian
said he would.
There was a call for adjournment. The motion to adjourn was made by
Ray Vetsch and seconded by Donatus Vetsch. All were in favor.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of
Albertville will meet at 8:00 p.m. on March 13, 1986 at City Hall to
consider Barthel construction's applicastions for:
1) Replatting of Lot 1, Block 6 located in the Barthel
Industrial Park.
2) A Conditional Use Permit to locate 2 four-plex apartments
in the Barthel Industrial Park's Residential District.
3) Allow the use of Zero Lot Lines within the new plat.
At said time and place the Planning Commission shall give all parties
who appear an opportunity to express their views with respect to the
proposal.
In addition, the City Council of the City of Albertville will meet
at 8:00 p.m. on March 17, 1986 at City Hall to consider the Planning
Commission recommendation of the Barthel Construction applications,
as listed above. Person appearing before the City Council will again
be given an opportunity:to express their views with respect to the
propsoal.
