PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
LAKE NAME CHANGE
WRIGHT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wright County Board of Commissioners will
hold a public hearing on Apri14, 2006 at 9:30 A.M., for the purpose of considering a Petition for
a lake name change which has. been filed with the Wright County Auditor/Treasurer. The
Petition is seeking to change the name of Mud Lake, located in the northeast corner of the City of
Albertville, to Hunter's Lake. The reason given in the Petition is that this lake is one of
approximately 13 Mud Lakes in Wright County, and the new name would better identify the lake
with the surrounding residential developments, one of which is called Hunter's Pass.
This public hearing will take place during the regular County Board meeting for that date,
held in the Commissioners' Board Room at the Wright County Government Center, Buffalo,
Minnesota.
All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing and comment on the proposed lake
name change. Written comments can be submitted to the Office of the County Coordinator,
Wright County Government Center, 10 2na Street NW, Buffalo, MN 55313.
