Truth in Taxation Hearing

PUBLIC COMMENTS -The City of Albertville welcomes and encourages public input on issues listed on the agenda or of
general community interest. Advertised public hearings are scheduled as such so that the public is afforded an opportunity to
speak. Citizens wishing to address the Mayor and Council regarding specific agenda items, other than public hearings, should
indicate so and will be afforded an opportunity during the discussion of said item. Citizens wishing to speak on matters not listed
on the agenda are always afforded the opportunity to do so under the "Public Forum", scheduled at the beginning of the agenda.
Presentations are limited to five (5) minutes. Citizens are asked to complete a'Request to Speak Card'.

3. PUBLIC COMMENT
This public hearing provides Albertville residents an opportunity to comment and ask
questions on the City's budget and related levy. Often times, this hearing gets confused with
the Board of Equalization hearing that is generally scheduled in the spring whereby the City
hosts a public hearing on property values. Any comments regarding property values will be
deferred to the Board of Equalization hearing in the spring.
No Council action will be taken at this hearing. The budget will be considered during the
City Council's regular meeting following this hearing.
