2008-01-07 Signage Concerns Letter CHELSEA January 7, 2008 VIA CERTIFIED MAIL Larry Kruse City Administrator City of Albertville 5959 Main Avenue NE PO Box 9 Albertville, MN 55301 Re: City of Albertville: Signage Concerns Albertville Premium Outlets 6415 Labeaux Avenue NE Albertville, MN Dear Mr. Kruse: I have been informed that the City of Albertville has expressed concern regarding Albertville Premium Outlets liquidating tenant signage within the public right of way along County Roads 19 and 37 and individuals maintaining walking signs in street medians. I would like to reiterate that the Center ownership does not in any way approve or encourage any practice that violates any City ordinances. As the Center owner, we take compliance with City ordinances very seriously, and strive to comply with any and all City ordinances applicable to our Center, including signage. We do not permit any liquidation signage activity on our property except specifically court ordered signage. In the event the City discovers a given tenant engaging in activity that violates any applicable City ordinance on Center property, the Center ownership will fully cooperate with the City in citing offending tenants. As it pertains to Center tenants violating City ordinances in the public right of way, as you can understand, since this would be occurring on property not owned or controlled by the Center, we are not in a position to control this activity. That being said, the Center appreciates the City's attempts to cite this practice in the event it violates any applicable City ordinance. As I hope you are aware, the Albertville Premium Outlets strives to be a good corporate citizen and comply with all City ordinances applicable to its operations. We welcome your concern and assistance with this matter. Very trul,y yours, .1 ".1/' /&:&-----_.-....
