Albertville Parks Committee meeting 3-22-21

1. Central Park
- Committee discussed concept plans A, B and C. Supports C but recommend to add plaza to
th
west end of pavilion. Remove path between dance floor and 58. Move path between
pavilion and Main Ave. so it’s centered on the pavilion; recommend stamped concrete for it.
Recommend pads for 3-4 benches along the arc of the stamped concrete path.
2. Westwind Park Shade Sail
- Recommendation to install a shade sail on Westwind Park viewing platform. Tim to get
estimate for a shade.
- Further discussion: the committee recommends against a sun shade. Concern is that it
would block view and also that it might not be necessary or wanted.
