2021-07-26 Parks Committee Minutes Albertville Parks Committee meeting 7-26-21

1. Committee candidates
Committee interviewed John Cardinal in July for the cant Parks Committee position; City is
unable to get a hold of Cardinal to hire him. Situation TBD. Lauryn White,who has been involved
with Friendly City Days has submitted a letter of interest join the committee.
2. Central Park
Skatepark is nearing completion—grading and other dirt work remain.The plaza and sidewalk
through park are in progress.
3. Four Seasons Park
Recommend painting shelter ceiling or else installing tin or wood to refresh it. Also recommend
replacing the boards in the tennis court.
4. Open Streets
Sept. 11 10:00 am-2:00 pm
Next meeting: 8-23-21 pm at City Hall
