1. Westwind Park
Alan presented the latest plan for the Westwind Park improvement project that includes
playground equipment, a shelter, benches, boardwalk, green space, sand play area and more.
Discussion resulted in recommendation for Alan to expand green space toward the south,
reduce size of sand footprint and reorganize layout of play equipment and present at the
October meeting. Discussion also included shelter designs that would include natural elements
like wood and stone.
2. Central Lions Park
Alan presented the latest plan for Central Lions Park. Discussion resulted in recommendation for
Alan to revise turning radiuses for trucks to enter/exit the park off Main Ave., widen driveway,
install sign/banner posts, remove trellises and add boulders around park perimeter to replace
existing wooden bollards.The revised plan will be presented at the October meeting.
