Attendees:Tim Guimont, Andy Swanson, Larry Sorensen, LeRoy Berning, Mark Barthel, Sharon Oakvik
Hunters Pass Park
City owns land for Hunters Pass Park and the Towne Lakes homeowners association (HOA) pays for
maintenance;the HOA wants to give the park maintenance responsibility to city.Tim inspected the park
and it appears to be up to code.
Memorial Bench and Tree at Winter Park
Committee approved installation of a memorial bench and tree in Winter Park.
Holiday Tree
City Council has approved the project that the committee recommended at its September meeting. Tim
will check if the tree can be planted before summer 2014.
57t"St. Decorations
Contractor is ready to go and City has the brackets to mount holiday decorations on poles along 57`"
Street. City is waiting for Xcel to approve installation of outlets on the poles.
Sliding Hill
Committee recommends installation of a sliding hill to the west of softball field/south of ice arena. After
council approval, committee recommends to have site plans put together to find out project's
approximate cost.
Caboose in Lion's Central Park
Adam Nafstad and LeRoy Berning will look at a caboose in St. Paul this month. Only cost would be
transportation and refurbish.
