City of AlbertvillerrIF Districts Nos. 7 and 8
Dear Commissioners:
The City of Albertville is proposing to establish two new Tax Increment Financing (TIP) Districts in its
Development District No. 1. TIP District No. 7 is a housing district intended to facilitate development
of rental housing for low and moderate income seniors. TIF District No. 8 is an economic development
district intended to facilitate development of a cabinet manufacturing facility.
The City has scheduled a public hearing on the TIF Plans for both districts on May 20. 1997 at 7:00 p.m.
in City Hall.
Under Minnesota Statutes. Section 469.175. Subd. 2, the City is required to provide you with estimates
of the fiscal and economic impact of these TIP Districts least 30 days before the public hearing. Those
impacts are summarized in Section V of each TIP Plan. copies of which are enclosed.
The City welcomes any comments you might have on the proposed modification at or before the public
hearing on May 20. If you have any questions. please contact City Administrator Garrison Hale or Clerk-
