1. Updates
a. Linfield new play structure-Done
b. Update on replacement- Damage at Westwind Park to Tube slide - The repair has been
completed
c. Concrete sidewalk and stage area at Central Park completed, the sprinkler system was
also installed
d. Lions water fountain was installed at Central Park
e. Update- Proposed scoreboard for Anglers' ball field—cost being paid for by Lions -no
updates
2. Replacement for Andy
There has been no interest in the open position yet.
3. Discussion regarding Pet Ordinance in Parks(Larry)
There was a discussion regarding the pet ordinance. A decision was made to further research
installing signs at parks.
4. Shade Covering for Central Park—sitting area next to skate structure
A decision was made for installing a shade. Parks will try to order it and get it installed this year.
5. Project for next year—Central Park Playground Replacement+Splash Park and small play area
west of Caboose
Several designs were reviewed and discussed. Changes to the designs were discussed. Additional
ideas will be reviewed at the next meeting.
The next meeting will be on Monday November 28, 2022 at 7:00 pm.
