The City of Albertville will be installing a sedimentation pond next to the wetland with Minnesota D.N.R. designation 86-414W. The intent of the construction of the sedimentation pond is to construct it directly adjacent to this wetland without encroaching into the wetland itself. However, the outlet from the sedimenta- tion pond wi 11 requi re that riprap be placed wi thin the wetland boundaries. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has therefore requested that we submit a permit for work wi thin the wetlands to cover the placement of this riprap. As such, we are forwarding this permit application to both the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers for their concurrence on this work. If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Sincerely, ;z::;~ Norman Gartner Professional Engineer cc: File E-9201-G / City of Albertville Mr. Tim Fell.
