Re: Psy~s 6th Addition
Dear Mr. Powers:
~
We have reviewed the infmmation provided by letter from Meyer-Roblin, Ine.
regarding drainage from the 6th Addition onto the Maa: property. Mike Comi
also received this information. The information was developed to present
calculations as a basis for future cost sharing 011 a joint storm sewer for the Maa
.and Psyk properly. We have the following comments:

L We would recommend a. standard design storm for the City be 10
years rather than a 5 year return frequency.
2. The 10 year storm would yield a larger runoff and subsequently
larger stmm sewer pipe (24" in Heuof 21'"). a larger sediment
pond. etc.
3. As a result of No. 2 above, we would expect the cost to rise/ We
reeomm.end that a. oost of $20,000 be used plus a reasonable
contingency. say 25%, toinclu.de enginee:ring, etc.
4. The percent of total land contributing runoff from the Psyk
property is 55% according to the M-R calculations. I have no
basis to dispute this number.
