Present:Chair Buhrmann and Commissioners Anderson, Huggins and Council Liaison Zagorski (in place for Hayden). PublichearingtoconsiderarequestoftheCityofAlbertvilleforaZoning TextamendmentandZoningMapamendmentaddingChapter5200PUD SummaryDistricttotheAlbertvilleZoningCodeandadoptingtheupdated ZoningMap. Brixius went through the Albertville PUD District Summary report. He informed Commissioners that the summary is to identify the special conditions applied to each of these PUD districts. There are many PUD districts in Albertville so staff thought it would be beneficial to summarize each PUD to memorialize these within the zoning code so that future Planning Commission Meeting Minutes Regular Meeting on May 9, 2023 1 staff will not need to search through the files and/or development contracts to apply the performance standard applicable to the individual PUDs with each development application or zoning question. Brixius showed the updated zoning map to the Commissioners and brought up one of the 05$Ȍ² «¨²³¤£ ¥®±  ­ ¤· ¬¯«¤ ³® show them how it works. Buhrmann asked how we did the PUD for the East side of the outlet mall to allow church use as an allowed use. Brixius informed that it went through a PUD amendment for the church. #®¬¬¨²²¨®­¤±² £¨²¢´²²¤£ ³§¤ ­´¬¡¤± ®¥ 05$Ȍs there are for this size of city. Commissioners had discussion on brick and mortar and grocery stores. Commissioners discussed the old Hana site and the uses for that specific location.
