RE:
PARKSIDE I &. II
ALBERTVILLE, MINNESOTA
Dear Ms. Kipka:
We have reviewed the valve boxes for the Parks ide I & II Developments in Albertville. We
have the following comments:
1. The valve box at the intersection of County Road 37 and Kahler is above the
bituminous pavement.
2.
The valve box at Kahler Circle is 11h inches below the pavement surface.
3.
Two valves at the intersection of 61st and Kallard are flush with the pavement
surface.
4.
One valve at the intersection of Kalenda and Kalland is high.
5.
One valve at the intersection of61st and Kaiser is flush with the paved surface.
6.
Most, if not all, of the valve boxes and valve box lids need to have the bituminous
material cleaned.
7.
The hydrants at 62nd and Kahler, Kahler Circle, Kahler Drive, and Kahler Circle
cul-de-sac have the traffic flange covered. The traffic flange needs to be exposed.
The proper valve box setting is Ih to * inches below the paved surface of the street. If you
have any qu~stions, please feel free to call.
Sincerely,
MSA, CONSULTING ENGINEERS
