1998-08-19 CC Findings of Fact 8-19-98 CITY OF ALBERTVILLE City Council Findings of Fact & Decision Applicant's Name: Mike Savitski. Savitski Commercial Building Request: A minor variance to allow the paved drivelane and loading area at the rear of the building to be paved up to the property line, thereby waiving the required five (5) foot setback. City Council Meeting Date: 17 August 1998 Findings of Fact: Based on review of the application and evidence received the City Council now makes the following findings of fact and decision: 1. The legal description of the subject property is attached. 2. The requirements of Section 500 (variances) of the City Zoning Ordinance have been met. Decision: Based on the foregoing considerations and applicable ordinances, the applicant's request for a minor (5 foot) parking lot setback variance has been approved based on the most current plans and information received to date, subject to the following conditions: 1. Park dedication fees as calculated for the recent lot consolidation and associated building addition will be paid by the property owner. Mike Savitski's Proposed Commercial Building Addition Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Albertville will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers of the Albertville City Hall on Tuesday, June 9th, 1998, at 7:00pm (or as soon there after as time permits), to hear, consider and pass upon all written or oral objections, if any, to the proposed variance from the building material requirements of the commercial zoning district. The property is legally described as Lot 3 and that part of Lot 2 lying east of the west 30 feet of said Lot 2, Block 2, Sunrise Commercial Park.
