Michael-Albertville School Board held a truth-In-taxation hearing on Wednesday, December 17, 2003, at 7:30 p.m. MemberS Present: Helgeson, Holland, Lefebvre, Steffens, Van Drasekand Weber . Staff Present: Superintendent Ziegler, Principals Brown and Burke, along with. Assistant Principals Carlson and Kelly. Superintendent Ziegler presented infor- mation on the budget for the current . school year,including sources of reve- nue and expenditures. Also presented was the proposed tax levy for taxes pay- able in 2004 including the percentage of increase over the prior year and the spe- cific purposes for which taxes are being increased. The school board and Dr. Ziegler an- swered questions from the audience. The hearing concluded at 8:48 p.m. and the regular meeting of the school board followed Weber/Lefebvre. The bid in the amount ot$551 , 144:40 for curb and paving at the Big WQOdsElementary School was awarded to Universal Enterprises. Lefebvre/Holland. The annual financial audit of. the St.Michael-Albertville School District, year ending June 30, 2003, was approved as presented by Jerry James, certified public accountant. SteffenslHolland.
