NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
EASEMENT VACATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Albertville City Council will hold a public
hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2,2004 at the Albertville City Hall located at
5975 Main Avenue N.E. to take public comment concerning the proposed vacation of
utility and drainage easements described as follows:
All of the utility and drainage easements included within Outlot B and Outlot C,
as dedicated on the plat of TOWNE LAKES 3rd ADDITION, according to the
recorded plat thereof, Wright County, Minnesota.
All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting and will be afforded the
opportunity to voice an opinion during the public hearing.

Truth In Taxation Hearing
Regular Meeting
The S1. Michael-Albertville School
Board held a truth-In-taxation hearing on
Wednesday, December 17, 2003, at
7:30 p.m.
MemberS Present: Helgeson, Holland,
Lefebvre, Steffens, Van Drasekand
Weber .
Staff Present: Superintendent Ziegler,
Principals Brown and Burke, along with.
Assistant Principals Carlson and Kelly.
Superintendent Ziegler presented infor-
mation on the budget for the current
. school year,including sources of reve-
nue and expenditures. Also presented
was the proposed tax levy for taxes pay-
able in 2004 including the percentage of
increase over the prior year and the spe-
cific purposes for which taxes are being
increased.
The school board and Dr. Ziegler an-
swered questions from the audience.
The hearing concluded at 8:48 p.m.
and the regular meeting of the school
board followed
Weber/Lefebvre. The bid in the amount
ot$551 , 144:40 for curb and paving at
the Big WQOdsElementary School was
awarded to Universal Enterprises.
Lefebvre/Holland. The annual financial
audit of. the St.Michael-Albertville
School District, year ending June 30,
2003, was approved as presented by
Jerry James, certified public accountant.
SteffenslHolland. A resolution authoriz-
.. 109 the. govemingboardof the Wright
Technical Center to work with area legis-
latorsln drafting a. bill for consideration
by the. 2004. Minnesota Legislature
which authorizes each member school
districts access to a capital levy for its
. sharll.ofthe cost of capital improve-
mentsto the technical center facilities
was approved.
Principal Brown presented the commit-
tee's final recommendation for elemen-
tary .school attendance boundary areas.

agenda items wene approved:

levy for taxes payable in 2004. All voted
aye. Motion passed.
Holland/Steffens. This meeting ad-
journed at 6:00 p.m.

in the 2004-2005 school}iear, along with
sources of additional income, were dis-
cussed. The school district will face an
estimated $750,000.00 budget deficit

LefebvreNan Drasek. The St. Michael-
Albertville High School Graduation Re-
quirements for the classes of 2005
through 2008 were approved as present-
ed by Curriculum lJlrector Jan Master-
son.

IMPROVEMENT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the town
board of Hassan will meet in the town-
ship hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan-
uary 22, 2004, to consider the making of
an improvement on Northdale Boulevard
and James Road North, north of. 141 st
Avenue and south of 149th Avenue by
adding sewer and water utilities, pur-
suant to Minnesota Statutes ~~429.011
to 429.111. The estimated cost of the
improvement is $2,600,000. A reasona-
ble estimate of the impact of the assess-
ment will be available at the hearing.
