Present:Terrill James,Leroy Berning,Pat Adamski,Lauryn White,Tim Guimont,Rob Olson,
Adam Nafstad
1.Guest Presentation:Midwest Playscapes –Representatives from Midwest Playscapes
presented two designs for the Central Park playground.The committee provided
feedback on the play equipment and landscaping,which Midwest Playscapes will work
into a new design for review at a future meeting.
2.Updates
a.Park Signage -on hold
b.Scoreboard -in process,should be installed by the end of the month
c.Naming Rights -no update
d.Central Park Parking Lot -complete
3.Oakside Park -The group briefly discussed feedback it received from residents living
near Oakside Park.Due to a lack of available time,this conversation was tabled for the
next meeting.Representatives from the Oakside neighborhood have been invited to
present at a future meeting.
4.Land Availability -The group discussed the available property at Main Avenue and
58th Street and whether it would be useful as an extension of Central Park.
No recommendation was made at this time.
