Contrary to the statements contained in your letter, Albertville Premium Outlets has not violated the applicable zoning ordinance and, in fact, has taken the corrective action it is lawfully able to take to attempt to prevent semi -trucks from parking in the lot at 6500 LaBeux Avenue (the "Property"). As you are aware, Albertville Premium Outlets has never invited semi -truck parking, has installed signage specifically stating that semi -truck parking is prohibited on the Property, and has given express permission to the Wright County Sheriff's Office perform their duty to protect and serve Albertville Premium Outlets by assisting in preventing semi -trucks from using the Property for parking. Albertville Premium Outlets is in no way permitting the parking of semi -trucks on the Property or encouraging the parking. Albertville Premium Outlets believes it has done all it can to do to protect its private property rights, which is to request assistance from law enforcement agencies that have jurisdiction and authority to enforce the law. We suggest that the parties coordinate a meeting with appropriate representatives of the Wright County Sheriff's Office and your office to discuss how the City of Albertville and Wright County are going to assist Albertville Premium Outlets, one of the largest, if not the largest, tax payer(s) in the City of Albertville and Wright County, to enforce its private property rights. We request the assistance of our public officials and are confident that by working together, this issue can be resolved for all parties.
