City of Albertville Parks Committee

Minutes
Present at the meeting were Tim Guimont, Leroy Berning, Lauryn White, Pat Adamski and Terry James
1. Playground presentation by Landscape Structures/Flagship Play. Baily Wolf presented two
concept designs for the Central Park Playground.
2. Updates –
a. Scoreboard – The scoreboard for the Baseball field is up and waiting for electrical
connection.
b. Central Park Parking lot – the parking lot surface has been completed. Lighting still
needs to be chosen and installed.
c. New Merry-go-round at 4 Seasons – The new equipment has been installed.
3. Terry James announced that he is stepping down from the Chair Position and recommended
that Lauryn White assume the Lead Chair position.
4. There is still an open position on the committee.
5. The next meeting will be on September 25, 2023. Updated plans for the Central Park
Playground from Both Landscape Structures and Midwest Playscapes will be reviewed.
