Minutes
Present: Pat Adamski, Leroy Berning, Rob Olson, Alanna Lau, Lauryn White
Not Present: Tim Guimont
1.Central Park
1.Playground - Adam presented the updated version of the playground plan. We
discussed landscaping options and additional seating options.
2.Dugout Shelters - Tim has 2 contractors writing up bids for the design. We are
still waiting for the bids.
3.Water Feature - Adam presented a couple of designs for this water feature. We
discussed the footprint and possible placement of a water feature. We also
talked about landscaping and seating options.
4.Lights - The 6 lights should be up soon.
5.Legion Ball Update - There will be a tournament here in 2025. They are looking
at needing bleachers for the fields and fencing. We talked about some options,
but we are limited on space behind home plate. We will revisit this at a future
meeting.
2. Other Updates
1.Main Street Updates - Adam presented the preliminary design ideas for the
Main Ave Streetscape. We discussed the design, and the need for more
parking. Adam took notes and we will revisit this design as we move forward in
the project. The project start date is looking to be mid/late June 2025.
2.Joey Bongarts Bench - Tim is going to send bench options to the Joey
Bongarts Fund to help find the correct style bench for Four Seasons Park.
Adam mentioned a more uniform bench style for our parks, so Tim may be
waiting to send options until he has more information.
3.Linwood Park Updates - The park basketball hoops, court surfaces, and the
fence will receive upgrades. The tennis courts will be painted for tennis and
pickle ball. This should be done Fall 2024
3. Open Seat on Committee - No letters of interest for us to review at this time.
