Central Park 1. Playground - City Council has approved the design. Adam is now in the process of submitting the plans to the engineer for bidding. 2. Dugout Shelters - The Albertville Lions are going to sponsor the dugouts. This will most likely happen next fall after baseball season has completed. The design we are looking at is the hardyboad sides with a shingled roof. It was also brought up that the hill behind the existing cement may need to be revamped to accommodate the new dugout. We will look at this in the spring. 3. Water Feature - City Council likes the updated design. We briefly discussed sponsorship vs memorial plaques for the feature. We will discuss this more at a later date. 4. Lights - The installation of the lights is happening now. The bases are in, and the lights should be next. 5. Legion Ball Update - There will be a tournament here in 2025. They are looking at needing bleachers for the fields and fencing. We discussed that bringing in bleachers from other fields for this event will be plenty of seating. 6. Field Updates - Field #3 improvements have been done. The netting will be installed in the spring. Field #1 needs new lights. Tim is going to get quotes for new lights. The poles are in rough shape. We also discussed needing scoreboards for fields 1 &2.
